EYELASH EXTENSIONS - CARE

  • Cleanse the lashes daily using 2 lint free applicators and Xtreme Lashes Makeup Remover, here. After rinsing the lashes, brush the lashes down to straighten them and then brush them up to fluff using your clean fingers as a guide by sandwiching your lashes between the brush and finger to brush gently. This method will also ensure you don't get too close to the point of adhesion.

  • Avoid oil- based products for the entire duration of your lash extensions! Especially avoid oil based creams, lotions and serums around the eye area if possible, and never apply on your eyelid as these products could sweat or rinse down into your lashes and eye.

  • Saunas, heat & steam can release the curl and effect the longevity of your lashes.  We recommend to limit these activities while wearing your lash extensions.

  • Do not use regular eyelash curlers to curl extensions (this could break off the extensions and damage your natural lash. The extensions have a curl to them and you may request to go for a stronger curl at your next appointment if you feel like you are needing a lash curler)

  • Do not rub your eyes or lashes. Use your clean mascara wand/ microfiber brush/ lint free applicator to help with any itchiness. We like to use a tapping method for this.

  • If you choose to wear mascara - only apply to the tips and used water-based mascara that washes off easily. Do not wear waterproof mascara. We recommend lash Extension Compatible Xtreme Lashes Length & Volume Mascara, here. Volume lashes CANNOT be worn with mascara as it will cause the lash fans to close, become too heavy and unbalanced. This may cause your lashes to shed prematurely, resulting in hair loss.

  • Do not try to remove the eyelash extensions on your own, please schedule an appointment with us to safely remove your extensions so as to not damage your natural lashes.

  • Do not cut the extensions. You may cut your skin or natural lashes. Your lashes will also become very blunt and not natural looking.

  • Come in every 2-3 weeks for a touch up/ lash fill to keep your lashes looking full and to have grown out or wonky lashes removed.

  • Never tug, twist, pick or pull at your lashes or extensions.

  • Brush and groom your lashes gently with a disposable mascara wand or lint free make up applicator

  • Try to sleep on your back or side with your eyes off of the pillow, avoid smashing your lashes as you sleep if possible. We recommend using a silk pillowcase if you are a side sleeper.  Silk is less likely to catch your lashes. You may also use our custom neck pillow to ensure comfortable and proper sleep for lash extensions, here.

  • If you must touch your lashes or eyes, always use upward sweeping motions (no side to side rubbing at the lash line).
